Every morning they would have breakfast together, and share a piece of chicken.
The husband loves the thigh and the wife loves the wing.
The husband's definition of love is giving his wife his favourite part which is the thigh.
The wife's definition of love is giving her husband his favourite part which is the thigh.
I've been thinking about the different definitions of love.
There is no right or wrong answer to this analogy.
It's just different perceptions of love.
One feels that love is to give what he thinks it's best for the other half.
Another feels that love is to give what makes her other half happy.
Personally, I would rather receive what I think it's best for me, and not based on the other person's point of view.
It's the same for all relationships isn't it? Whether between parents and children, or friends, or couples.. Everybody loves differently, but not everybody wants to be loved in that particular way.
What do you think? Giver? Or receiver?
