So Jocelyn and I went down to SAM for Singapore Night Festival and it was aaamaaazinggg. She's got a friend who's the curator and he brought us around.
Artsy Fartsy Friday Night
I went to 2 galleries.
First one is Artspace@222 - #Eville
I actually contributed to this art space. This show is about evilness. How society portrays insults, abortion, meanness and yeah death. I came up with insults. Apparently I'm fucking good at it. PeopleWereImpressedJustSaying.
This skit is cool. They have actors wearing 'Somebody' 'Anybody' 'Everybody' etc etc. Like 'Somebody' gets kidnapped and 'Everybody' will just watch and do nothing. Genius.
Second floor onwards:
'They have dark skin'
Just my bestfriend and I goofing around.
This is a portrayal of wastage of food. Ps: they really bought real good food. So we um, ate and ate and ate. HAHA
This room is FUCKING scary. When you enter, they'll close the doors behind you. There's a recording whereby you feel like you're being judged by the 3 shadows. About racism etc etc. You feel guilty for judging people now that you detest people judging you.
One actually drew 'What's evil? Are you evil? Would you pull the trigger?' Dark stuff man.
